My attention has recently been drawn to my lack of blogging prowess. While initially defensive (not really), I now concur. My last two posts:
1. World Cup lookalikes.
2. Highlights from a Manchester United pre-season friendly.
Manchester United's season is now in full swing and I haven't posted a single highlight video. Yet, I found that pre-season win important enough to post.
My blog title, The Contraphone Blog, would seem to imply that my blog had something to do with contraphones (which it doesn't). But I made that word up, so I can make up all sorts of contradictory and ridiculous ways that "contraphone" has multiple meanings, and that there are so many plays-on-words involved here that it makes sense that all I post are soccer videos and occasional classroom highlights.
So, in review....
My blog is in a stage of redefinition. Expect a flurry of posts on unrelated topics. Expect soccer videos. Expect haikus, sonnets, cinquains, and the like from myself and from my students. And expect me to define this stage of more-of-the-same as "redefinition." (I also hereby resolve to write some short stories.)
